Things That Take Time

As you can imagine, I’ve gotten lots of opinions and thoughts about my coaching program.

Apparently, it was pretty bold to come on the scene and ask people to let me help them discover how to effectively market their business in six months.

“Six months?” they said…”nobody wants to take six months to do anything!”

I agree.  Most people want results overnight.

But the reality is, good results take time.

Yesterday, my husband was watching the P90X commercial.  You’ve probably seen it, “Get ripped abs in just 90 days!”.

90 days…that’s 3 months.  There was a guy on there who totally transformed his body.  You know what he said?  It took him a few “rounds” to get that way.  That’s right, he had to repeat the program to get better and better results.

I’ve started meditating.  It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself.  The CD’s that I got to help me with this practice started with Level 1.  The program says that I should listen to the first CD every day for 30 days.

I listened to the first CD for a couple of days and was so impressed with how I felt afterwards, I shared it with my friends and family.

Some said, “30 minutes?  I don’t have 30 minutes to sit and listen to a CD!”.  On the other hand, some did listen to it, enjoyed it, but didn’t make the commitment to do it every day for 30 days.

Yesterday, I started CD number 2, which means, I’ve completed my first 30 days.   It’s making a big difference in my emotional and spiritual health.

I couldn’t do it without making the time commitment.  It’s not always convenient or easy.  But as you’ve heard the saying before, if it were easy, everyone would already be doing it (as I searched for the quote about this, I came across a great blog post by Nathan Collier).

To get really good results from working out, meditating, learning a new language or marketing your business, it’s just a matter of making the time commitment to a program that works for you.

My marketing coaching program has been designed to accommodate the needs of even the most time-pressed business owner.

Now I just need to know, are you ready to make the commitment?

  1. Thanks for a fabulous reminder….
I guess it’s always human to want to “push the river…” I know I want things yesterday!
But growth, has it’s own orderly way, doesn’t it?
